Code Redstone brings concepts of computer architecture with one of the most played computer sandbox games of all time, Minecraft. Founded in January 2020, Code Redstone is a fairly new organization but is an ambitious one. Our goal is to try to simulate computer architecture through the means of "redstone" and solve logical problems and overcome the limitations of Minecraft. Our members vary from Computer Engineers to Physics Majors, all with a drive to utilize the game they love to simulate systems. Each year, we develop a new project and showcase it at the Engineering Open House, which mainly consists of a younger audience, to enlighten their interest in boolean logic and computer architecture through something which appeals to them.
If you wish to take part in this endeavor, please reach out to Rohit Narayanan (President) at rohitn2@illinois.edu with your interest and we hope to get you on board as soon as possible!
